Nic Black
Managing Director & Principal Consultant
A highly experienced & creative engineer specialising in all things lighting design and audio visual for a wide variety of sectors. With over 35 years industry experience Nic has designed & led project teams across Europe, Middle East & the US.
As a multi award winning designer of various multi faceted AV systems, home cinemas and architectural lighting solutions, Nic relishes the creative challenge and technical integration of projects.
Nic's key skills include;

Architectural lighting design across a wide range of sectors, from retail to offices, residential to heritage buildings

Audio visual systems design & integration, from high end residential smart homes to large scale corporate headquarters

Cinema design - a passion for all the creative and engineering elements of private cinema design & build.
As a confident and competent communicator, Nic regularly presents to & consults for senior executives and company directors from across a wide range of sectors, as well as dealing direct with end users.
With an in-depth experience of a wide range of AV & lighting sectors & disciplines, Nic is responsible for the overall design & specification of projects, key client relationships, delivery of projects, as well as general consulting services.
Until 2023, Nic founded & ran UK company Pyramid AV for 27 years, and thanks go to the current team at Pyramid for allowing me to refer to some of the projects and attainments gained over the many years.

Design Consultant
24 years in the AV industry, and counting!
Mark's experience in the design and delivery of technology into luxury homes around the world is impressive. Having designed and managed AV projects across the UK and EMEA from large Cotswolds estates, to private residences in Bali, Kuwait & Madrid to name a few, Mark has extensive knowledge of all layers of AV & smart home technology.
Mark has the experience to guide and collaborate with the project team from start to finish.
His philosophy is that any technology within a home should be purposeful, simple and sympathetic to the architecture and interiors.
Mark has worked within many areas of the AV & smart homes industry including all aspects of systems installation, Crestron programming, project management, technical specification and latterly consulting on a number of projects with Sigma, including a full re-design and tender specification for an estate wide CCTV system in the UK.
